Check the weather before travel :)
Scotland can be a bit unpredictable weather wise. so make sure you pack well, for sightseeing and for inside the flat as it is a 225 year old building which will not be as warm as being inside at home if you live somewhere with a warmer climate.
Samgöngur
Trams, Buses, Trains and Parking
Trams
The trams run every 7 minutes and you must buy a ticket before your journey. For full information check out Edinburghtrams . com (I cannot add any links sadly)
Buses
Lothian Buses run all over the city and fares can be purchased on board. Buses to and from the airport are the 500 bus. The 900 bus to Glasgow goes from the Bus Station, very near the flat.
Trains
Waverly Station is a short walk from the flat with trains going all over Scotland and to England. Scotrail . com for more information.
