Curiously enough, there is a Klettersteig (via-ferrata) in the middle of the city. It´s called City Wall!

Apparently, an American tank got stuck here after the end of WW2. The signs against the building walls can still be seen... hoops!

City and/but/or Nature
Sometimes Salzburg doesn´t feel like an actual city. Damn, you can even spot cows and let them lick salt from your hands right on the Mönchsberg in the city center! Is there anything more Austrian than that?!?
Mönchsberg and Kapuzinerberg are two main hills inside the city. Taking a walk there will leave you wondering how you can be in an urban area! Mönchsberg is has many trails which I still need to explore. Kapuzinerberg even hosts a group of chamois living there all the time... yes, this also is Salzburg...

The riverside café that is just different. Cool atmosphere, great for breakfast and aperitif, or even just a quick coffee that will inevitably get you stuck staring at the Salzach river and the busy people passing by.
