If you want to do the upmarket touristy Salzburg thing, then this is it - allegedly the oldest restaurant in Europe, stunningly beautiful and with a lovely menu.

Absolute insider tip: breakfast only on weekends, ingenious-historical ambience and great facilities. Reservations are absolutely necessary.

THE good, cosy and cute restaurant in the Old Town which DOES break the bank. But worth it. Oldest restaurant in Salzburg and maybe in Europe. SInce 803 AD.
