If you don't mind a hike this is well worth it, its the hill the apartment faces. You actually drive half way up and its a pleasant 1 hr walk in total. Mostly track and under cover with a few great look-out points.

Eumundi markets are open on Sundays and Wednesdays and have huge numbers of stalls and a very vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommend the local pub for some refreshments after or a good night out, especially if some good music playing.

Walk along the board walk, or just take off your shoes and stroll along the beach. Go body surfing or try some surfing lessons. The place is very busy (unless you are used to city living) on holidays but otherwise you'll be able to get into any cafe, restaurant, the RSL, bowls club or local pub.

If you have time to kill then a drive along the range - Montville to Maleny is a must. Spectacular views, antique shopping, quaint cafes and restaurants, cheese factory, winery...

Quaint small town. There is a ginger factory that the younger ones especially enjoy. A very good market on Saturday mornings, although more plants and produce.
