There is no other zoo like Australia Zoo! They pack in stacks of wildlife action every day and there are always plenty of exciting wildlife shows to see.
A great Family day out. Australia Zoo is about a 30 minutes Drive from Maroochydore. See the crocodile shows !!
Iconic place to visit as I'm sure you're aware made famous by Steve Irwin. Often there is a queue so you can buy tickets online. If you have RACQ membership you can get a discount. Plan your day so you can see the live shows - they are fantastic.

“This photo doesn't really do it justice! My favourite waterfall walk on the coast. Takes approx 1 hour to get there and 1 hour to walk the whole circuit. It is absolutely spectacular and wonderful for a swim if you can handle the cold. ”

“Warm up’s over, it’s time to go bush! The 2.8km-return track to the summit of Mount Ngungun dishes up beautiful ferns and raw Aussie bush all the way to the rock-top finale and then relish in an amazing sunset. 🥰 About halfway up, take a breather and admire the hulking Mount Tibrogargan with macadamia orchards, pineapple and pine plantations leading to its base. What to expect: Being able to stand in symmetry with Mt Coonowrin and Mt Beerwah, if your nerves will take you that far. Mt Ngungun is a family-friendly track and can get crowded on weekends. How to get there: Entrance to the summit track is about 3km from Glass House Mountains township via Coonowrin and Fullertons Roads.”

“Crystal clear water that offers quiet little spots to set up for a picnic …. or the ultimate destination of the falls where locals and visitors LOVE to jump off or tear their nerve and swing out over the water before dropping into the water below. This can be quite a busy spot on a weekend or during the school holidays so parking can be a tad annoying. ”
