Please note that as of the end of April 2023, the bridge between East Thetford, VT and Lyme, NH is closed for repair. The closure is expected to be 12-18 months. To get over to Lyme you can go north to Fairlee, VT and take the bridge to Orford, NH then go south to Lyme. You can also go south to Norwich, VT then take the bridge to Hanover, NH and go north to Lyme.
The Fairlee/Orford detour is fastest from our place.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but the bridge is long overdue for repairs.

Reservations at restaurants
A lot of restaurants now are reservation-only because of COVID. I recommend calling ahead before you head out to eat anywhere.

Our place does not have a washer and dryer, however there are 3 laundromats within a reasonable distance:
--White River Laundromat: 457 Hartford Ave., White River Junction, VT
--The Laundry Spa: 2 Mascoma St #4, Lebanon, NH (laundry AND tanning!)
--The West Lebanon Laundromat: 16 Railroad Ave, West Lebanon, NH

Bridge closure
Please note that as of April 2023 the bridge between East Thetford, VT and Lyme, NH (Highway 113) is closed for repairs. The closure is expected to remain in place for 12-18 months. You can still get to Lyme, but you have to either go north up to the Fairlee/Orford bridge or south down to the Norwich/Hanover bridge.
