Many of DE state parks are wonderful to visit. Thus I've decided to add in as many as I could think of.

This area has tall fishing piers that will take you out on the water , and there are a lot of opportunities to see turtles in the water (if you look closely) and birds flying around (if you're into birdwatching) , and there is space to ride bikes or to go out on your boat if you bring one (kayak or motorized) , and I personally have liked to sit out on a blanket and paint myself.

This isn't our biggest "beach" with lots of waves etc. but it is very quant and cute and private which makes it a great spot to come and relax at. There are horseshoe crabs, some shells and decent free parking near the beaches entrance.

This is one of my favorite places to go and to visit. There is a fisherman's boat that leaves out each morning early and daily that you can pay to get on, you can ride your bikes through town, there is a decent amount of beach to tan on , lay on or hangout with family on.

This is one of my favorite places to go and to visit. There is a fisherman's boat that leaves out each morning early and daily that you can pay to get on, you can ride your bikes through town, there is a decent amount of beach to tan on , lay on or hangout with family on.
It's good for if you have boats you'd like to take out and there are a good amount of picnic tables and a small park in town.
There are pavilions for picnic and group gatherings, there are paddle boat rentals , a chance to zipline if you are open to it and so on. Feel free to visit their website for more information!

The food here in my opinion is really rich and good quality and there are indoor as well as outdoor seating options available.
The prices (especially for seafood are also very cheap) in my opinion. Enjoy if you go and there is an ice-cream shop generally open during warm weather seasons right next to it.

Their food (at the one right downtown by the Riverwalk and library) is very good quality and their 2nd floor has a nice view and large glass window to catch a view from.

Things To Do/Fun Outings
Although fairly new to DE it is a great theatre to go to.
It doesn't get really busy , the seats recline, heat up and have outlets to charge your phone plus decently priced tickets :)

This place comes equipped with billiards, bowling , an arcade, food etc. and is pretty popular in DE. Have fun if you go.
