The Belfort is the central focal point for the town of Bruges, and a must-see if you're up to climbing the nearly 400 steps! Be prepared to queue at peak times, but ascend to the top and you are rewarded by spectacular views over the city, as well as the stunning clarion and tower full of bells.

This museums starts out with the history of the potato and how it made its way to Belgium so they could make their delicious friets. I found it to be interesting and fun. Best part are the fries at the end of the tour.

A cool history of Chocolate : Choco-Story is a great little place near the center of Bruges telling the history of chocolate. When you enter they have free samples of different chocolates at the desk, and give you a chocolate bar with your ticket.

An amazing chronologic overview of the rich cultural past of Flanders and Bruges. The Memlings and Van Eyk are wonderful. It is not a very big museum, but they do have a incredible collection
