With the new ownership a couple of years ago, they have hit a HOME RUN!!! Great ingredients, decent seating, very good waitstaff. Nice outdoor patio available. Walking distance to all downtown Oakland attractions, including the Little Yough River and lovely walking trail. Great wine selection and fair pricing. We prefer the white cheese pizza with extra garlic and we select our vino from their large selection.

Garrett County's eclectic spot! Live music, crazy, interesting setting, craft brews and a simple, fun place to visit. Awesome Firefly Farm cheese and wine shop directly across the street. Located in town of Accident, MD (interesting story with the town hame - easy to Google), this is a fun & tasty destination! My wife and I have many times grabbed a specialty cheese cut to our size at the Firefly Farm! Great gift ideas there too! less than 5 min away!

Sightseeing
Maryland's highest point is accessed by a trailhead and short, intense hike. Located about 30 minutes South of the resort area, resting on the boulders and taking in the scenery to the North is a sight to behold. You will be so high the hawks will be soaring beneath you - quite a sight! Small pull off area on the right of RT 219 and trailhead on your left. Hike is pretty steep in areas but not terribly long. When you have conquered this mountaintop, signed the register found in the mailbox at the top, and safely descended, continue South on RT 219 for another 15 minutes and you will find yourself in the fun, small town of Thomas, WV. Grab grub at the Purple Fiddle on Main Street!

Often the Forest Rangers are offering fun, short classes to help you learn about and enjoy the outdoors!
