We've eaten here multiple times. Highly recommend the pork and brisket sandwiches. Mac and cheese is delicious too! If you are looking for some quality BBQ, without taking too much time out of your day to stop and eat, this is a great place! Indoor and patio dining.

Did a lovely tasting at this winery. The frozen wines are a must try! So yummy. There is also a cute little gift shop attached where I purchased some great items! This is part of a wine tour, including 5 wineries. The tastings are completely free and you get a gift if you visit so many of them.

Cades Cove is a must see! It is definitely worth the trip. They have breathtaking views of the mountains. You can drive through the 11 mile one-way loop (can take between 2-4 hours to drive through). You will most likely want to stop as there are places to pull off and take in the scenery. There also are places to park and walk around various hiking areas. There are historic buildings, waterfalls, a visitor center and the most beautiful sights.

Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Smoky Mountains. It is on the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. It is about a one hour drive from the Cabin. We have not gone yet, but it is on my list of things to do next time we visit!!

The Tuckaleechee Caverns are about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. These are very cool natural caverns underground. It was fun to hear the stories and history on how the were discovered. Definitely alot of walking up/down stairs that can be slippery and steep. Just a heads up.

Restaurants, food, drinks. Mountain coaster and ziplining are some other things you can do. I would love to go back at night, they have twinkle lights to make it look really beautiful.

Hiking
This beautiful nature trail runs along the river. There also is a portion of this trail that takes you through the abandon "ghost town" of Elkmont. Elkmont was settled in the 1840's and used to be a booming resort and logging cabin town for visitors. However, when the National Park was established in 1934 most people sold to the park. The remaining homes were leased with the park until 1992. After the lease was up the park had trouble keeping up the cabins and they started to deteriorate. The park has preserved 19 of the buildings, which you can walk through.
