It's rich mix of habitats provide places for over 295 bird species to rest, nest and winter, including over 30 species of waterfowl (ducks and geese) and an increasing population of Sandhill cranes and a small number of Whooping cranes. Great fishing for for
bass, bluegill, redear
sunfish, crappie, and catfish. Guided tours available for groups.

So much! "The General" Golf Course (incredibly low rates) & boat rentals, even paddle boats. Playground, grassy areas for baseball, soccer or whatever family fun, basketball courts, swimming beach (getting redone to open summer 2023) and hiking trails (we love!).

Rent a pontoon and tubes for a day of amazing fun on the lake. The marina is less than a mile from our house. We've used them many times and they are wonderful to work with and always friendly.

Fun for the whole family! 1 hour jump $10/person. We had an unforgettable time jumping, flipping, trying to hit each other playing dodgeball. Great for wearing the kids out! (And we had the place to ourselves!)
