During the day you can experience vendors selling handmade goods, beautiful views of the marsh including Goat Island and wild activities on the water. There's amazing restaurants all along the water as well and lots of night life, bars, and bands playing. We are just a short 10 minute drive from there.

Market Common has lots of shopping opportunities, delicious restaurants and a large park to walk or play. They have playgrounds, dog parks, and most restaurants and stores are dog friendly. Perfect for you and your furry friend. Some places even offer a dog menu. Market Common is also home to a movie theater, 810 bowling, and Barnes and Noble. Cute, safe, and friendly, this area is for everyone and only 15 minutes from our home.

Sightseeing
Brookgreen is absolutely stunning! There is so much to look at with beautiful trees, flowers, statues and animals. You can definitely spend a whole day surrounded by nature. They will host special events that may require purchasing tickets in advance. Brookgreen Gardens also recently welcomed some baby otters at the end of 2021 and they are a must see for sure! This is roughly 15-20 minutes from our home.

Huntington Beach is one of the few beaches that is dog friendly all year round. Even if you don't have a furry friend or if you don't want to be by them there are areas of the beach that are off limits to dogs. You will also be able to see some awesome sealife as well with dolphin pods passing, ghost crabs in the dunes, and little sea birds. This is one of our favorite places to visit, perfect all year round. Only a 15-20 minute drive from our home and across the street from Brookgreen Gardens.

Ubers, Lyft, and Taxi's are easy!
Uber, Lyft, and taxi's are the best way to get around. They are available all day long and we've always have had friendly drivers when we use them. There are is the city bus too but the stops are not close to our house. If you are coming in or leaving by plane, our home is about a 20 minute drive from Myrtle Beach International Airport.
