One interesting option for nature tours in Indonesia is to touch the beauty of the Ijen Crater in East Java. The natural crater formed by the volcano eruption is the most beautiful crater owned by Indonesia because it has the phenomenon of blue fire, aka the blue fire. Not surprisingly, every weekend, the Ijen Crater area is often filled with tourists, both local and foreign.
Geographically, the Ijen Crater area is included in three regencies in East Java, namely Situbondo, Bondowoso, and Banyuwangi. However, the main entrance to enter the location of Ijen Crater is in Paltuding, Banyuwangi. For tourists who don't want to spend the night on the mountain but want to witness the phenomenon of blue fire, the Kalipuro area is another option for staying overnight.
From Kalipuro to Paltuding it takes about an hour to travel, or a distance of about 35 km. With an estimated trekking trip time from Paltuding to Ijen Crater it takes about 2 hours, so to be able to witness the blue fire phenomenon, tourists must start the journey from Kalipuro at around 1:30 am.

Alas Purwo National Park has an area of 43,420 hectares with a height of 322 meters above sea level. Alas Purwo National Park, which is often referred to as TNAP, is the oldest forest in Java.
As a natural rain forest on the island of Java, here there are 580 types of flora and 50 species of fauna scattered throughout the forest. Alas Purwo National Park is divided into four zones, namely the core zone, jungle zone, utilization zone, and buffer zone. Some types of plants that you can see here include sapodilla, spices manggong, ketapang, grass, herbs, shrubs, lianas, billowing, and other plants.
Some fauna found in Alas Purwo National Park include bull (Bos javanicus), deer (Cervus timorensis), ajag (Cuon alpinus), boar (Sus scrofa), deer (Muntiacus muntjak), leopard (Panthera pardus), lutung (Trachypithecus auratus), gray apes (Macaca fascicularis), and monitor lizards.
Here are also 236 species of land birds.

Bamboo forest is one of the interesting spots that you will pass if you want to visit the Palace Cave. This bamboo forest is still very natural, so the air is cool and contains magical elements.
There are no guard posts here. The type of bamboo that is here is jajang bamboo. The density of bamboo that is here makes you occasionally have to bend down to walk because of the curved bamboo. This bamboo forest is also often used as a photo location.
Goa Istana Alas Purwo

Sadengan is a savanna field which is only 2 km from the entrance of Alas Purwo National Park. Sadengan has an area of 84 hectares, where you will be treated to views of African style. At this location, you can find a herd of cows, bulls, deer, and if you are lucky you see a flock of peacocks.
You are not allowed to enter the savannah without a guide, therefore in Sadengan a tower of view is built. The wooden tower consists of three floors, and has a function to observe the life of wild animals in the savannah. Only officers can enter this savanna.
If you have a hobby of photography and want to photograph wildlife habitat up close, ask the officer to take you into the savanna area.

Sadengan is a savanna field which is only 2 km from the entrance of Alas Purwo National Park. Sadengan has an area of 84 hectares, where you will be treated to views of African style. At this location, you can find a herd of cows, bulls, deer, and if you are lucky you see a flock of peacocks.
