If you like biking, the park next to the unit has a trail that goes all the way down to the lake. This is a cool way to spend a couple of hours walking around. Paddleboarding and boat rentals as well.

If you are looking for a hike, this will take a good 1.5 hour each way. Bring at least a liter of water with you as this is moderate to strenuous. But the views at the top are the best 360-degree view of the entire city of Phoenix.

East McDonald DriveIf you are looking for a hike, this will take a good 1.5 hour each way. Bring at least a liter of water with you as this is moderate to strenuous. But the views at the top are the best 360-degree view of the entire city of Phoenix.
