This spot is way off the beaten path and does require a 1 mile easy to moderate walk from the parking area to the lake. There is a general store at the lake open during the summer season. They are FAMOUS for their lemonade! Some of my best childhood Lake Tahoe memories are of swimming in the lake on a hot summer day and getting a lemonade for the walk back to the car.
