If you feel like something old school, expensive and fancy, this place is a throw back. The food is good, but the service is better. Think pinky rings and a list of specials a mile long.

Bethel Woods is a great place to see concerts. It also has a superb museum about the Woodstock concert, which was held on its grounds.

Walnut Mt is about 7 min from my cottage. My kids enjoy the playground there, as well as the several hiking trails. In winter, there's some great sledding to be had as well.

I haven't been to this park, but I hear there is a fine swimming beach, and beautiful hiking. Check it out!

My friends and I had a blast here, looking at the adorable baby animals. Good for kids. They also have a nice produce stand.

I recently spent the day here with my kids. You can go, and use their facilities, which include an indoor pool and gym, for a fee. My kids loved the room of inflatable jumpy things..for $10 a day!
