I just love this cosy place, where everyone from the bartenders to servers are some lovely friendly people, and the gin tonic is the best :) I fancy coming here on summer evenings, when the whole street hums of the people gathered here, who stand in front os the cafe smoking a fag and sipping on a soda :) And there are small parties and concerts that are worth seeing.

This is a go to if you like listening alternative electronic music and partying till 9 am :) The good party usually starts at around 3 am. The scenery outside the little club is just breathtaking at dawn.

Sightseeing
Tucked away in a small quiet area only a few blocks away from the main square, this towering church is en route to the nearby Taylor's Bastion. It has just recently been renovated and one cannot leave the city without visiting it, it is just gorgeous. It dates back to the 15th century and was built in the Gothic style. If you are lucky you might hear a nice little organ music passage.

I ate my best finger-food here - nachos. It has a pleasant terrace near the central park.

A great place if you look for traditional Romanian food. With a lovely vine terrace, on a quiet little street in downtown, you can have a good glass of wine and some yummy filling meals.

I get bread and buttery croissants from here, but I love the the poppy seed rolls, malai cu lapte (milky corn slices, a true traditional delicatesse), plus the cremes which is very elegantly served).

One of the oldest botanical gardens in Europe (established around 1870), with thousand of plants from the whole world, this place shouldn't be skipped while you visit Cluj. It's just a few-minutes walk on a hill from the city center, and it's worth going for a nice time in the middle of the nature.

If you visit Cluj during the summer this is a good place to hide from the blazing sun, but not only. It has some nice terraces for having a lunch or a lemonade, and an urban lake where you must take a ride on a swan paddle boat :)
