Their self proclaimed aim is to produce a vegan version of all their dishes, and they have a lot of dishes on their menu! They are off to a cracking start with Italian classics such as "meatballs" and spaghetti. Portions are beyond generous, and you might want to take them up on their offer to serve starter sized portions for your mains.

St Margaret was a hugely influential figure within Scottish history, and we're lucky enough to be living close to one of her regular haunts. The cave is rather oddly on the fringes of a car park, but don't let that deter you as the cave itself is reached via a fascinating walk down through displays detailing her life. The cave itself is quite beautiful. And visiting it is free!

Only 20 minutes walk from us, with magnificent views down the valley to the Forth, Dean Plantation Forest is a lovely place to go for a walk away from the noise of traffic. Full of twisting paths, with the Crossford burn (stream) flowing through its centre, it's one of our favorite places in the area and one we know you won't be disappointed by. Ideal for dogs, cycling, running, and just about anything!

Located away from the main bustle of the high street, The Secret Door is one of those little shops you'll be delighted to have discovered. It's an Aladdin cave of antiques and curios.

Drinks & Nightlife

Not your run of the mill drinking hole and all the richer for that. Some might say cheesy, we would disagree and describe as unique.
