Walking distance from our house. Sitting at 4,200-acres, this beautiful place offers a long list of outdoor activities including, jogging, biking, fishing, pick-nicking, horseback riding, bird and wildlife watching, beach volleyball and more.
Access the park by walking out of our neighborhood taking a left on E Quincy Ave. Cross S Parker Rd at the light (be careful, it’s a busy intersection) and you’ll see the trail entrance veering right after you cross. Take Parker Rd Trail to Lehigh Ave and you’ll see the Cherry Creek State Park entrance station where you can purchase a walk-in pass for $3/person. If you’d like to drive in, the cost is roughly $10/vehicle for a day.
