Amazing, often almost deserted beach within the boundaries of the City of San Francisco -- because to get to it you have to hike down a steep 1/2 mile trail (so steep it has stairs). But the views and relative solitude are always well worth it. Alternatively you can just park at the top of the cliffs and look out at the sunset and the vistas. On windy days this is a major center for hang gliding, adding to the spectacular scenery. Can often be windy/foggy so pick a sunny day to go visit -- or bring a warm coat.

Getting Around
This "other" BART station is not served by the Crown Colony Shuttle, but it is almost exactly as far away from Crown Colony as the BART Colma Station. Either one works!
