Also located on Fort Street. this pizza place is hopping, every night. Its hard for me to choose between 900 degrees and Prima Strada. They are both so yummy with thin chewy crusts and ever so interesting combinations of toppings. Definitely worth the drive.

Looking for a wine bar with the best charcuterie around? This is it! Everything about it is great. Fernwood is a cute little neighbourhood in Victoria. The wine list is good, the meat and cheese selections are great. and the service is fabulous.

It is an easy walk from downtown for lunch or an afternoon beer on the way back to our place. We have been going here since our girls were babies. More than 30 years!

The menu here is spectacular. There is a choice of full service restaurant and great wine menu or an extensive sushi bar. The Marina also serves the BEST brunch menu in Victoria. But be sure you haven't eaten for days to take full advantage of the brunch. It is extensive and everything is delicious!!

Flat walking along hard surface path or along the beach. Your choice. Look over to the San Juan Islands and see Mt Baker in the distance. I love going for walks in the rain. this is one of my go-to quiet spots for outdoor rainy days.

Salmon spawn, herring run, harbour seals fish, swans, kayaks and canoes. The Gorge was also a site for local First Nations villages in the past as the water is rich in shellfish. And you can even swim in it!
