If you love Asian, you are in luck around Burleigh as this is one of many in the area that serves up gorgeous asian fusion dishes.
Jimmy Wahs has great food but a little pricey for the size of the food.
Easy to get there. Just walk towards the mains part of town and its located on the Gold Coast Highway.

We have been here during holidays and it can be incredibly busy and sometimes the vans can run out of food so go early.
Burleigh Pavillion has amazing views. They have a selection of pub food. We can recommend their woodfire pizzas.

Beautiful Brunch they offer once a month which we can recommend. This is located on the same rooftop as the pavilion (the pav) so you will have spectacular views across Burleigh reaching all the way to Surfers and beyond on a clear day.

You will not be disappointed with this place. We rate this to be one of the best restaurants in walking distance from the apartment. The food is amazing, cocktails are fabulous and the staff are great. It is Asian fusion of course.

Authentic delicious Japanese. This place is located directly under Ambience.
Best Mexican on the coast and only a short walk from the apartment. Highly recommend Calamari Taco with a house Margarita.

We have many gems in and around Burleigh, micro beweries, gin and whisky bars, hidden bars that only the locals know about. And most of them are walking distance from you.
I call this our local garage pub. If you love the little alleyway pubs in Melbourne, then this is for you. Hidden away in the side lanes where only the locals really know about.
Located minutes away from the apartment. Exit the Gold Coast Highway side and head towards James Street. This bar in located in an alleyway between Gold Coast Highway and James Street. There is a real estate called Realty Blue on the corner where you need to turn left. You will see the pub on the left hand side.

There is a sign that gives you a number you need to text to be able to enter. Someone will come and open the door for you as soon as you text. Very cool place.
Ask any locals and they will tell you that this is the place to go for drinks and the best view of the Gold Coast. Spectacular in the evening when the sun is setting. It can get very busy, especially on the weekends.

Great atmosphere and awesome friendly staff.

A couple of doors down from Grandpa Jacks, so put this on your pub crawl list. One of our favorite local beers. Its a little shed that offer their full range of beers. It can get very crowded due to the size of the shed but worth a visit to try another great local beer.
