The sourdough based pizza's are excellent and the price is amazing. £7 for a pizza surrounded by many other restaurants and bars and looking out onto the Old Southampton walls. Great atmosphere and lovely staff

This is a late 15th to early 16th century pub, the oldest pub in Southampton and worth the experience. You can also get simple British food here. It's a very local pub as in it's not a fancy bar, it's old and genuine. The interior is just fantastic

This is a new and flash hotel based in Ocean Village and is really impressive. Go to the top where you will find the terrace bar. Not over priced and the views over Southampton are fabulous. It's gives you a completely different perspective of Southampton. Fabulous and if you want a bit of Glitz and glamour. You can also eat here.

This beautiful Park is literally on our doorstep. Just walk across the road where there is a now council owned building used to be the old stables for the Country house called Mayfield house used to exist, hence the name Mayfield Park. In fact, our house was built for the workers of the old estate, so a little bit of history. You can sit in there, go for a walk and this can bring you down to the shore. You can also see the garden centre surrounded by the lovely old walled gardens. I buy almost all my plants from there.

It's a real adult space and we are members of this fantastic cinema. You can bring your alcoholic drink in with you to a film, you can have food there or have a drink in the bar and terrace which overlooks the marina. Love it!!
