Nice and friendly laundry only a 3min walk away from the apartment at Hansaplatz. I bring my shirts there myself because washing and ironing is only 1€ per shirt. You can also have them Wash & Fold your stuff. It is just like going to the laundromat, except they do all the work for you.

You can also have a look at the glass chocolate factory and try fresh, handmade pralines. There is also the "Mutterland Go" in the main store. Here you can get cakes, Franz, baked goods, sandwiches, salads, bowls, cold-pressed juices and a changing warm lunch. Incidentally, upstairs you can also eat and work at the same time or meet up with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. In the new gastronomy with bar, café and restaurant you can get everything you want from breakfast, lunch, coffee & cake, dinner and excellent drinks..

At Café Gnosa, time has stood still. Since the 1950s, the café has been known for its opulent cakes. And the spirit of the times may have changed: You can still indulge your sweet tooth at Gnosa. Gnosa is a popular meeting place not only at coffee time. Basically, you want to spend the whole day in the stylishly retro-chic restaurant. They have super nice breakfast and lunch.

Small but great cellar restaurant with Cantonese food like dim sum (lots of choice!), but you can also get standard food like "duck sweet and sour". This restaurant is open until 1am (!!!). So perfect for the late hunger! :)

Weekly market on Lange Reihe

Twice a week, the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Platz on Lange Reihe becomes a weekly market. Thursdays are the regular municipal market, Fridays are organic market time. From market to market, only the stalls differ, but at those it remains with ecologically produced products from the region.
