Good Japanese food and very friendly service. Just downstairs from my flat. They have all-you-can-eat formulas. The lunch one is very convenient (12.50 each)

A family-run patisserie, which is perfect if you want to treat yourself to a nice breakfast. Their selection of pastries and cakes is mouth watering. Try the pastry with walnuts and maple syrup. Yum!

They also do food, however this ex factory converted into a very cool bar is the perfect place for the Milanese aperitivo. Booking recommended for large parties.

Only one of the many bars in the Navigli district but I particularly recommend it as it's run by a friend and has a nice atmosphere. Good selection of excellent beers. Food also available

A very atmospheric place, full of vintage objects and furniture, which is great for an aperitivo. I love the room on the right with all the clocks.
