Food Scene
This place has amazing food for meat-eaters and veggie-lovers alike! They are known for Stout Month all of February, and are a location close to my heart. Try the Date Night Burger and enjoy the community atmosphere. They have a shelf of games to play in one corner, and amazing Pub Fries, with completely underrated (and massive) side house salads.

My go-to for taco cravings, this place can get a little busy on weekend nights, and for good reason. Adventurous meat eaters should try the Lengua for it's melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. And veggies have three delicious options including the Vegan 1944. If you're craving hot melted cheese with a kick, try the Queso Fundido con Chorizo. Usually an appetizer and 3-tacos each makes for a perfect dinner for two! Great for date night, or a fun atmosphere for the solo traveller wanting great food and delicious margaritas.

City Park is great for a morning run or an afternoon bike ride, those basics just scratch the surface. It hosts Jazz in the Park every Sunday afternoon into the evening from June till August. This is a free event to attend, with live music, stellar people watching, and tons of food trucks to try out the best of Denver. Watch the sun set over the city, or dance with the friendliest of communities :)
P.S. The gravel path around the perimeter of the park is almost an exact 3 mile loop!

Located just a 15 minute walk south, Cheesman park offers more running paths, and a slightly more upscale lawn to enjoy the 300+ days of Denver sun, and take in the city skyline.

Great store with B-cycle access and good organic selection. They do frequently run out of things as the day goes on, so going early is best.
