Surprisingly reminds me of famous Peruvian seafood cuisine made famous by Gaston Arcurio. They are known for Torres or Towers, artful cuisine with great flavor to match. Just dig in and enjoy. Seafood is as its name implies is front and center at this tiny local. Service is great. Hours : 12N - 9 pm.

La Perla del Pixan : 38Th North betwen La 5Ta Av & Beach, Hours 8 am 1 1 pm. Very authentic Mexican cuisine with gourmet twist. Seating is predominantly outdoors and heavenly. Service is friendly and very informative.
Chez Celine : La 5ta Av and Calle 34. Fabulous croissants, best outside of Paris proper. Great macarons make great gifts to enjoy with friends. Great location and makes great stop for breakfast before heading to airport. Open 7:30 am - 11 pm.

Muyil Archaelogical Site : just short drive south of Tulum Center. Located to your left. It is a often overlooked. This was a large trading post, much larger than it more famous, well known Tulum.
Multiple treks, some are very easy for all type of fitness level. Pay upon entering and hire local guide. Guides are Mayans that live in this beautiful site. They are very kind to children and truly enjoying sharing their knowledge of this special place.
Ask if you are interested in setting up a boat trip to Sian K'aan, the largest bio reserve in the Western Hemisphere. The natural beauty is intoxicating and all who visit hate to leave.
Very private & completely safe for snorkeling. Great sculptures by Zuniga present backdrop for great photos. Costs is reasonable & they do have a snack bar & ecofriendly compost toilets on site.

Visitors will also see spider monkeys that are fun but very mischievous. The tour guides are usually biologists & do a great job on sharing their love for this special environment.
