Excellent place for brunch with a view of Manhattan; right next to Hudson & Co and usually has more availability. Their food is solid and has never disappointed.

Restaurant with the best view and food combination in Jersey City; somewhat on the pricier side but the food is worth it and the view of New York City across the Hudson is priceless. When the weather is warm they have a very nice outdoor setup. We recommend you reserve ahead, this place gets packed.

With Liberty House , one of two restaurants / event spaces with great NYC views in Liberty State Park. We got married here in 2013 and specially enjoy their Thursday special (Burgers, Oysters and a Beer / Glass of Wine for only $29!)

Best view of Downtown Manhattan. A 20 min walk from our place
A massive white sculpture of a head shushing New York City across the water surrounded by a landscaped park on a pier. Designed by the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa it was installed in 2020, it's a must visit. A bit far to walk to (30 mins from our house) but only a 10 min walk from the Newport PATH station or a short 10 min bike ride on CitiBike.

A bit far to walk to (30 mins from our house) but only a 10 min walk from the Newport PATH station or a short 10 min bike ride on CitiBike.
Bigger than Central Park; Liberty State Park is a riverside oasis with stunning views of New York City and New York Bay. You can catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from here or you can choose to hang out, walk the riverfront promenade and find the perfect spot for a picnic. Didn't bring your own food? There's 2 great restaurants in the Park, Maritime Parc and Liberty House. Park is about a 20 - 30 min walk from the house, just take 4th st down to Jersey Avenue and walk south (right) on Jersey Avenue for a long time.
