You can walk or jog around the well formed base track of the Mount, or if you are feeling energetic there are well sign-posted tracks up to the top. The reward is stunning 360 degree views of the region including the Mount, Tauranga and Matakana island.

Check out the massive cruise ships during the season, and if you are here at the right time you can head down with an evening picnic, watch the sunset and wave the ships goodbye!

The MallLocals call this area "Pilot Bay" and it is on the harbour side right beside the Mount. It is a very safe beach for families or inexperienced swimmers. Check out the massive cruise ships during the season, and if you are here at the right time you can head down with an evening picnic, watch the sunset and wave the ships goodbye!

Hard to categorise this one but from a NZ culture perspective, this is an old "Pa" site which was originally a Maori settlement. Has amazing views of the region and is an opportunity to see up close how the indigenous culture of NZ actually lived.
