Nina's has a unique atmosphere (usually full of interesting people and table sharing is encouraged) with wonderful coffees and teas as well as bakery items and a food menu. Never had anything I didn't like! The building it is in is called The Arcade and it has amazing character - I'd encourage you to wander around a bit!

Best croissants I've ever had in the states, tucked away in a little hole-in-the-wall place. Better get there early though, they sell out by 10am usually.

Easily walkable from our home, Sawatdee has amazing Thai food! The brewery next door (Tin Whiskers) does not serve food so many people take food from here to go and sit at the brewery to eat! However, the restaurant's atmosphere is very fun as well!

The food is absolutely amazing and the prices can't be beat! You won't have to fight crowds to get in and we aren't sure how it's stayed under the radar. We would eat here all the time if we could!

Amazing food for every meal (the gyros are by far the best deal in our opinion) as well as delicious chai tea and bakery items (including the largest and most yummy cakes we've ever seen ... the carrot cake blew our minds).

The beer and bratwursts are incredible - it's also has a really cool history of being the oldest public house in St. Paul, recently restored with an ambience we love!

It boasts something like 80 rotating taps of the best beers from across the land, has a stellar whiskey selection, and fantastic food. (The name recently changed to The Gnome Craft Pub but the guidebook format won't let me change it).

Walkable from our home, the path to this park will take you past beautiful and historic St. Paul mansions and, upon your arrival, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Mississippi River. In the summer, you can also catch some free yoga/kickboxing/etc. classes at certain times!

You will feel like you are in Europe! The Cathedral is open daily to visit and they have regular mass times listed on their website. The organ was recently restored and is magnificent - if you can attend a concert there, we highly recommend it! Their tours offer some interesting information on the details of the Cathedral as well as how it ties in with the history of the area (my favorite thing to learn about was the shrine that recognizes all the immigrant groups to the area).
