Beautiful village up the valley. Stop there or go all the way up to the end of the road past Sixt, through Le Molliet and to the end of the road. There you can walk along the trails for several hours. An easy day trip is up to the But du Monde - End of the World - Easy with kids.

Take a drive up the Col de Joux Plane at the North side of Samoens. Drive up until you come to the picnic tables and have an evening sundowner or picnic! Fantastic in summer. Wonderful views up the valley towards Sixt. In the summer, bike up - if you have the legs - and drop down the other side for an epic descent into Morzine.
