Parks & Nature

Travel over the bridge over the Atlantic. There is a nice restaurant in Ellenabeich and you can take a ferry over to Easdale and walk around the island where slates were quarried. Beautiful views of the islands. My grandmother used to go there to paint.

Gorgeous beach with white sand. There is a car park and an information board with details of the walks that you can do from the beach along the coast. In the summer there is a van with refreshments. This is a great place to spot wildlife. If you are lucky you might see a basking seal.
