One of my favorite Vietnamese foods, Ba Chi has the best selection of Bao, small vietnamese tacos made with a soft steam bun and every filling imaginable from fried oysters to tofu. Also the Kimchi fries and Pho are delicious.

Since moving to a new location, it's just down the street from the house and a great place to here local Zydeco music on Thursdays as well as get some two stepping lessons. Good food, a full bar, always a good show and well maintained lanes. Go for bowling or just to dance.

Robert is my favorite neighborhood market. It has everything you need and many local items. The hot bar services breakfast lunch and dinner. There's a great bakery and if you get there early enough, the coffee bar has fresh baked beignets. Open till 9pm.
