Housed in over 400 years old property that happens to be our house they have served Italian cooking longer than I remember. Has nice home like atmosphere and during summer time one can sit next to the old Dominican monastery main church remains.

Opposite of our home is located truly best fine dining restaurant in Tallinn. Take your time and enjoy good life served at least twice better than in any other restaurant close by.

Best croissants in town served from 8am. Owner extremely friendly and caring. Dogs welcome and warmer half of the year their street terrace is best place to enjoy good breakfast.

Another cafe on my street. They are part of local group that is making their own pastries and cakes and has more of the cafes in other parts of old town and Tallinn overall. Owners are hands on in the business and if you want Estonia local coffee culture than thats the place to go.

Square that Soviet occupiers renamed from Freedom Square to Winners Square :) After restoration of independence Estonians reacted by War of Independence Victory Column that carries Cross of Liberty - ensign that was also used by 20th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS made of Estonians.

Being member of the congregation I highly recommend to visit this relatively new cathedral built by donations from all over the then Russian Empire. Their book shop has vast selection of icons, books and candles to take as souvenirs. NB! Please do not pass the gated area as people are there constantly praying God and services are held or to be held soon :)

Please do not pass the gated area as people are there constantly praying God and services are held or to be held soon :)
The castle houses Estonian Parliament and each morning the tower has flag hoisted with national anthem. There is also viewing terrace on the foot of the tower but it does not have the best view on town facing mainly former blue collar areas of town.
