Ever seen a volcanic crater? A collapsed magma chamber with a small lake at the bottom. Only 25 minutes' drive from us, it's definitely worth a visit and a walk around (and the 300 kr. entry fee).

Platforms and pathways are maintained so it's fairly easy, but still a significant amount of walking is required. It's lit up inside so you can enjoy the beautiful vibrant colors of the lava, ranging from deep purple to bright orange and yellows to fiery reds.
