Our friends at Misko restaurant are very hospitable and offer a variety of sea food dishes. My cousin works as a chef there and if you go there give them a hint that you are staying at "Gecko" for extra delicious meal :)

This winery is a must for wine lovers. Their wine is made in a traditional way from local grapes. You can taste and buy their wine which won some important trophies at wine shows. Sometimes they organize events with live music and good food if you are lucky enough to be there at the time.

This is a magical place, you will love this. It is a family owned restaurant in Albania, that is working by the principle of 1 mile, meaning everything served is found and grown in the village itself. Many of our guests who have been there said they were speechless about the food and the whole experience. Remember to make sure your rental car is allowed in Albania, and you have to plan and make a reservation for the restaurant much in advance. You wont regret it.

One of the things to do here is taking a boat tour around the island. Many taxi boats are available and prices range about 50 eur for around the island ride, or 20 eur for a ride up and down the river only. You will see many nice houses, fishermen, wildlife....

Old fortress, located in the town of Ulcinj. Founded in 5th century b.c. this town has seen some very interesting history, including pirates who ruled this waters for a long time.

This is just a place where you can stop by to have a nice view. If you plan to spend a day driving around, nice idea would be to go from Ada to Vladimir, than via this place to Skadar lake, than Virpazar, and via tunel Sozina to go back to Ada. From this place you can see Podgorica, Skadar Lake, Skadar city in Albania, river Bojana and Adriatic sea.

This is just a place where you can stop by to have a nice view. If you plan to spend a day driving around, nice idea would be to go from Ada to Vladimir, than via this place to Skadar lake, than Virpazar, and via tunel Sozina to go back to Ada. From this place you can see Podgorica, Skadar Lake, Skadar city in Albania, river Bojana and Adriatic sea.
