Dumb name (SoCal folks call freeways by "the") but enormous, flavorful sandwiches & wraps, tasty salads, lots of beers, homemade pastries and freshly roasted coffee are all winners.

Best little ski resort around! Dirt cheap compared with Tahoe and Mt. Bachelor, really good runs for all levels and extra-nice staff.

It has birdfeeders, bird food, toys and much more. Kids love the store as well as adults. It's located in the same shopping center as the theater and Solano's Hardware behind Black Bear Diner.
