My all-time favorite bar, The Cruise Room, is here. Historic Art Deco bar in the historic Oxford hotel next to Union Station downtown. Great classic cocktails. This place is as it has been since Prohibition. Booth seating, relaxed, not too noisy, and you can order food.

Gorgeous, large park with something for everyone. Ponds, Flowers, running path, biking path, paddleboats, etc. Denver Classic, just a 15 minute walk away.

This recreation path goes for miles east and west. Enter at Logan and Speer Blvd (a few blocks north of the house) for a nice stroll along the creek, or a vigorous run/bike ride. Will take you to the Cherry Creek Mall (to the East about 2 miles) or to Confluence Park (where the Creek and the Platter River join, downtown denver).
