Collective Arts was where I fell in love with craft beer. My favourite is "Ransack the Universe" Hemisphere IPA. This place means a lot to Hamilton. It was the site of the former Amstel Brewery, and later the Lakeport Brewery. Lakeport became a threat to the big commercial breweries and they ended up getting bought out by one of them. The big guys then moved production to London and they essentially skuttled the ship and cut up the brewing equipment so that no one else could easily take up residence and brew beer. I'm happy to say this didn't work and thanks to the partnership with Nickelbrook, Collective Arts was born and local breweries are now plenty in "The Hammer".

Home of the legendary Avro Lancaster Bomber. There are only two in the world in flying condition and Hometown Hamilton has one of them. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's collection of almost 50 aircraft consist of many types right from an early biplane to the modern jet. Learn about their history, facts and view the photo gallery of each aircraft. Flight experiences are available for purchase on several of the aircraft. It's an experience of a lifetime! I personally went up for a flight on the de Havilland Canada Chipmunk. What an amazing experience. It was well worth the $200.

Farmboy is a smaller but really great place for groceries while travelling . They also have an eat in area where you can enjoy their prepared foods. Or bring them back and enjoy them here at Que Syrah Syrah Cellars on the back patio or in the Suite.

No Frills is as the name suggests, a budget friendly grocery store. It doesn't have prepared foods like the others listed but it does carry all of the President's Choice line of products similar to Fortinos.

Love Landmark Cinemas because you can purchase your ticket and pick your actual seat prior to going to the theatre. All of the seats are power recliners with a lot of room. If you're not good with internet purchases ask your host and I can likely help purchase and print the tickets for you.
