Idlewild is the local distillery in Winter Park, they make great cocktails but also have a great food menu that changes seasonally. We've never had anything we didn't like here. It does get busy on long weekends but they accept reservations on opentable.

Durbar is a delicious newer addition to the WP food scene. We’ve never had something we didn’t like there. The prices are competitive and it’s a nice change of pace from the typical mountain town fare

Parks & Nature
We love going to Monarch lake for all kinds of activities. We will go hiking or fishing and have lunch, and have seen people out in kayaks and on paddle boards on the lake. There is a 4 mile hike around that lake that's beautiful and pretty easy. The lake is also a starting point for lots of other hikes to lakes and waterfalls. There is a $5 per day fee per car.
