City/town information
Kanab is known as 'Little Hollywood'. Dozens and dozens of westerns were filmed in and around Kanab. Visit Parry Lodge, the Little Hollywood building and other posts around town to go back in time and learn about Kanab's special place in the film industry.
We highly recommend a visit to the Kane County visitor's center in town and The Kanab visitors center just eat of town on 89.
If you don't have a SXS or jeep, we recommend possibly renting one so you can experience the Coral Pink Sand Dunes and the Kanab Peekaboo Slots!
If you're heading to Zion, we highly recommend taking the route to the East entrance. So many people enter through Springdale and the South entrance, and miss out on possibly the most amazing drive ever!
Restaurants - please always look online, or better yet, call restaurants to confirm their operating hours. Tourism greatly affects our local business's ability to open, they do their very best. Great news is there are always options available, but most local restaurants are open 5-6 days a week.

One of our favorite places in Kanab. You WILL need a sxs or jeep to navigate the deep sand trails to get here. Not a super long hike, and it's all on pretty level ground but the slots are just gorgeous. DO NOT go during rainfall or even the slightest threat of rainfall. Know your surroundings and their limitations!

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon
One of our favorite places in Kanab. You WILL need a sxs or jeep to navigate the deep sand trails to get here. Not a super long hike, and it's all on pretty level ground but the slots are just gorgeous. DO NOT go during rainfall or even the slightest threat of rainfall. Know your surroundings and their limitations!
Sightseeing
This is worth a trip. Go to the visitor's center, visit Angel's Rest, Angel's Landind and the delicious vegan Angel's cafe (open daily for lunch 11:30am-1pm only). The drive itself is gorgeous. If you take your sxs, check your Alltrails app and find hidden lake, it's not too far off the beaten path. You also can connect to the Kanab Peekaboo from this road, check Alltrails.

Probably the best place in town for breakfast, but the real reason to go is the lobby. It's full of Kanab film history, definitely worth a visit!
