This family owned small Chinese stop is on the same block, mere steps away. The Szechuan Beef Noodle Soup is amazing if you like spicy. Delicious dumplings. And of course their boba tea and smoothies have a variety of flavors, sometimes we drop in just to get one of those.

This is a part of a great little stretch of nightlife downtown within walking distance, just a short walk down 300E. And don't stop there, explore Edison St right across from Bar X, which has even more great places.

This is a beautiful park that is a wonderful short walk away. And once you're there, you might as well walk up the hill to see the capitol building, which is also very close.

This is a decent short walk from our place, and it's uphill, but once you get there, you get an incredible view of the entire city when on the steps. Go around the trail, it's a beautiful capitol building.

Steps away, this place has a wow factor when checking out the architecture from outside. The bells also ring out across the neighborhood, which is a nice ambiance.

Neighborhoods
The Avenues is, in our humble opinion, the best neighborhood in SLC. Walking around reveals so much personality and history in each stylized home, little restaurants and coffee shops nestled within, and it's right next to Salt Lake City itself.
