Just a mile and a little bit from Little Gem is Pentire Headland. On a good day it offers panoramic views of the surrounding coast line. You can Jog, cycle, or walk there. Its about a 25 minute stroll from your accommodation.

Take a walk up to Pentire Headland. The vista is one of the best in the county. It's about 25 minutes walk from Little Gem. As luck would have it there's a great place to take some "sustenance" and its dog friendly. Be aware! You can get very comfortable at the Lewinnick!

Pentire headlandTake a walk up to Pentire Headland. The vista is one of the best in the county. It's about 25 minutes walk from Little Gem. As luck would have it there's a great place to take some "sustenance" and its dog friendly. Be aware! You can get very comfortable at the Lewinnick!
Another Dog friendly (and people friendly) place. Specialising in ciders and pizzas. its up at the north end of Fistral Beach. South Fistral is a 10 minute walk from Little Gem. Then a leisurely 10 mins stroll on Newquay's premier surfing beach. Great Place.

On the way back from Pentire Headland a cup of tea and a nice slice of homemade cake might just what you need. Plus a handy way to get to Crantock beach!

Take a walk into Newquay town centre. Situated just before central square is Newquay bus station. The "93" Newquay to Truro generally leaves on the hour. A comprehensive bus time table will be available at Little Gem.

A real locals pub. But very welcoming to visitors. Supporter of local bands. Friday and Saturday is live music night. A great atmosphere. My Local and the nearest pub to little Gem. And yes you guessed it. Dog friendly.
