This coffee shops is two blocks away from the house. (when I am home I go there everyday) They have amazing pastries, coffee and breakfast. Special mention to the Lemon Poppyseed Cake and the Corn Muffin!

This place is a must! You can either go walking (take Glenfeliz Blvd, it's a beautiful stroll) or a 5 min ride by car. They have top notch Mediterranean cuisine and a beautiful outdoor patio. There is no way to go wrong but I think they have one of the best falafel and hummus in town, also the Fried Chicken Shawarma is delicious :)

This is an L.A institution, they claim to have the best croissants in town (so crunchy and buttery) and the scones are to die for, really good coffee as well. It will be easy to spot, there is always a line outside!

Perfect place for a casual drink at the bar or their really cool lounge. They also have food and board games to play with friends while sharing a drink (try Jenga after the third round :) it will be fun)

AMAZING breakfast place! It feels like a small corner of Paris in the middle of Los Feliz. Everything they have is delicious, though my favorites are the Soft Scramble Eggs with pesto bread and the Croque Monsieur. Also they have great bread and pastries.

The Sunday farmer's market is a must!!!!
Look for Atwater Village's Farmers Market every Sunday at Larga Ave. They have very fresh produce and a great "Sunday in L.A vibe".
I will specially recommend seasonal organic vegetables and fruits from GIVENS FARMS stand (it is SO good), eggs and chicken from LA BAHN RANCH, the fish at SMART FISH Co. (their Salmon tastes like heaven) and amazing seasonal flowers from MYRIAD FLOWERS.

Griffith Park Pony Rides & Petting Zoo
This is a very special simple space nestle in the wonderful Griffith Park. You can spend a whole afternoon with your kids riding ponies and taking the small train that rides along the area.
