Quaint little cafe that has amazing food. Very limited seating, but the food and friendliness of the staff is worth it. They use local farm products, and have options for dietary restrictions (i.e. keto, gluten free). Typically only open for breakfast or brunch.

The cooks at the hibachi are friendly and interactive. The food is delicious. Try the Firecracker Roll!

Snow cones are a staple during the hot Oklahoma summers! Tropical Freeze is close to the house and they have delicious snow cones. Favorite flavors of the family: Tigers Blood with cream, Raspberry with ice cream, Spiderman, and Bubble Gum. We also really enjoy their Italian Ices, which is an extremely smooth frozen fruit treat.

They have large windows facing the flight line so you can watch the airplanes take off and land. Their food is amazing and very reasonably priced. They have homemade sourdough bread for their sandwiches and toast which is to die for. They also have various homemade pies/desserts. They are only open Mon-Fri until 2 PM, though. (Except for the monthly fly-in on one Saturday a month). While you're there, check out the 1/6th scale model of the Vietnam Memorial at the entrance to the airport, and pay your respects to those who sacrificed it all for our country.

Bricktown Brewery has great food and local brews! This has become one of our family's favorite places to eat in town. I haven't tried something I haven't like . The kids like that they get Oreo's with their meals. Try the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer; it's awesome!

In our opinion, the best pizza joint in town. They have a lot of delicious creative pizza options, or get one with traditional toppings!

Boomarang Diner is one of our favorite places to eat. They are very kid friendly, serving the kid's meals in a cardboard classic car model. They are decently priced and serve breakfast items all day. Must get the Pickle-O's! Closed on Sundays.

Activities
This is a great get-away for the kids! 2 floors of interactive activities, plus an outside wooden playground (weather dependent). The staff will take out the animals so you can pet them if you just ask.

They have games available for free (board games, pinball, cornhole) and free popcorn. Family friendly; my 8 year old son loves coming here.

My kids love to come here. There are tons of lanes, so we've never had to wait. Tate's Fun Zone is also located in the building that has quite a few arcade games, an ice cream bar and bumper cars!

The only place in the world you can experience something like this! About an hour away, this is a giant salt plain and a National Wildlife Refuge. Open March through October, you can go dig for the unique selenite crystals. It is fun and easy to find them! However, you will get extremely dirty. Bring a complete set of extra clothes. There are no facilities, so recommend hats, sunscreen, and lots fresh water. The middle of the summer gets intensely hot, with no shelter. Also, wash your vehicle after driving around on the salt (take it from a "Northener" as I'm called around here...).

Enid Axe has an awesome atmosphere. The staff are friendly and will give you hints if needed. Adult drinks and soft drinks are available, as well as a Gelato bar and gourmet sweets. Also has a few arcade games, including virtual golf.

45 minutes west of Enid, you finally see some change in topography! You can scale the butte (using the stairs), then explore the entire place. You can see for miles at the top. Bring a hat, sun glasses, sunscreen and water! There is a possibility of rattlesnakes, so just watch out for them. There are picnic pavilions, and an outhouse type restroom, but no other facilities.
