50 miles from here | 1.5 Hr Drive | One of our favorite scenic day trip hikes in the area. It's an out and back trail that is lovely whether you hike 2 miles out or 7.5 all the way to Echo lake. Old growth forests, rivers, streams, lakes, and waterfalls. It's beautiful. Bring your Northwest Forest pass or $10 to pay the daily visitor fee. We recommend stopping in Buckley or Enumclaw at Wally's for milkshakes/burgers, Anchor House Coffee for espresso, or Carlson Block for Pizza - or all of the above!
