Wareham is a lovely small town close to Wool, with a river running through it and a good choice of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend a visit.
Easy to get to from Wool by public transport too (train or bus) if not driving. Not too far to take a taxi back either, but do check on cost first with taxi company.

Stunning part of Dorset coastline and little less known. Lovely outside cafe too, with a play ground next to it. Would recommend a visit for a walk and coffee and cake. Please note cafe may have seasonal opening times, so worth checking online in advance.
