Personal fav: Ice latte This is a very cool gem of a coffee shop with some treats as well! Fun people and friendly workers to be found here! We tend to keep their beans at the Airbnb as well if you care to make your own on site - french press style or an entire pot :)

WOW !! Personal Fav: Fish tacos (I don't like hot sauce or fish tacos but this is my all time favorite appetizer and puts these fish tacos into a class of their own). Fett Chile - signature dish, pasta dish more less not really Chile but has some spice with Italian sausage. To hot for me but so good I get it all the time and eat as much as I can handle. They keep the rest for later when my mouth cools down. This place is A+ and either the owner is there working his tail off or they have one heck of a manager. In any case he is there every time I've been and things are always a delight. Very cozy relatively small you might want to call ahead to get a table but usually a seat at the bar will be available if it's just a couple of you wanting to enjoy the space and flavours

This place is super fun. Vibes hard to match and tough to beat. Drinks and savory snack size dishes you've never heard of with flavors you've never tasted. A taste adventure with glass railings overlooking our legendary Corydon strip of shops/lounges/dinning. That being said it's not cheap maybe $12-$15 a drink. Don't spend your whole evening there, but worth a pop in for one or two then continue on. Maybe head to Saffrons down the block for a full meal on great patio. Cross your fingers for good service.

Fantastic Tapas probably the best in the city. Quite small call for reservation. If it's full I think Maque is owned by same people and similar and easier to get reservation if Enoteca is full but never been to Maque myself.

Sightseeing

This place should be top of your list. So many things to see inside and out from the most beautiful trails Winnipeg has to offer, to shopping, outdoor dinning and drinks with abundance of multi level tier seating of interlocking brick overlooking the "harbour" lets call it... or perhaps "board walk" is more suitable. Chic shops in shopping mall style set up with food options galore incl glass blowing shops, antiques, mini donuts ice cream in AMAZING building the architecture alone is mesmerizing. Once horse stables and hay lofts in the height of the railway days. You could spend several days here easily attempting to take it all in from skateboard park to play center for kids to museums etc. Far to much to list. See you there! https://www.theforks.com/

Whether you like baseball or not the evenings watching a game are fantastic as the sun goes down and the field lights come on. There is just something about it that makes it a fantastic night. The evening breeze, with a ton of food/drink options there is nothing to worry about here just sit back and relax. Count on the mascot to entertain you a bit, and put your feet up. Fantastic baseball at an affordable price! Great modern stadium with good seats about $20 or less last time I checked.

Quite an attraction! This made quite the splash when Canada decided to build it in Winnipeg. A national monument. Newer building with stairs rising to the peak for a great view! A human rights professor once told me there are some "blatant omissions" but that's not for me to comment on other than "what would you expect try and to make the best of it :)". It's not a quick stop, lots of reading to follow along if I remember correctly.

The Winnipeg Art Gallery will host a variety of exhibits for maybe 3 weeks at a time for a given artist. See if they are featuring anyone special during your stay in Winnipeg it might be worth the stop! https://www.wag.ca/ Also, permanent collections are available for viewings regularly is my understanding. Call for more details 204 786 6641

Interesting place to go with lots of cool little shops on Osborne street. A great place for a free spirit. Lots of people being themselves with funky shops for jewelry, tats, clothing etc. Very accepting part Winnipeg for anyone's individuality. Two parts. The second known as "South Osborne" A short hike past the rapid transit underpass at confusion corner (this is where whats known as "North Osborne" ends. Pizza Heaven - A staple of the Osborne strip selling by the slice pizza with a delicious signature garlic butter crust. Osborne was the first location for Pizza Heaven. Several sushi restaurants also

One of Winnipeg hottest places to go often host location for festivals and entertainment. Kings head pub to have a good time and play some pool/darts or see live band. Peasant Cookery for a nice meal or any of the other smaller shops you will pass by including bro-nuts (gourmet donuts). Many trendy people and businesses professionals call this area home.

South Sherbrook lots of cool neat shops. Nothing to see on Sherbrook North of Portage Ave. I don't suggest you go site seeing in that direction.
