Best brunch in town! This unique outdoor restaurant has quality food and amazing coffee. The owner, Crystal, has perfected stuffed french toast with homemade whip cream.
If you're lucky, their cute border collie puppy will be there to greet you!

Best Poke I've ever had. If you want fresh caught, local fish, this is your spot. Also known as Sun Dried Specialties, Kona Grill House serves fresh caught fish, delicious crab cakes, and incredible desserts to-go. You've gotta check them out!

Farm to table cuisine. Wonderful food and staff. We love coming here for date nights! The food is reliably delicious and the location is great. Right off Ali'i drive next to shops and the water.

Sightseeing
My favorite hike on the Big Island. This valley will take your breath away (literally). These stunning views come with the price of a steep hike down and up hill. Fortunately, the hike is pretty short and very doable for just about anyone.
I recommend planning to hike back out of the valley by 3pm so that you can have dinner on your way back through Hawi. Restaurants close very early in that area, so plan accordingly with food and water.

I could get lost in this botanical garden for HOURS! Not only does this place feature hundreds of species of tropical plants, but the ocean view will leave you speechless. This is my favorite place to bring family and friends who visit us. It is also close to some amazing waterfalls, so plan to make a whole day of it!
Akaka Falls & Rainbow Falls are great stops to make along the way.

This is my favorite place to bring family and friends who visit us. It is also close to some amazing waterfalls, so plan to make a whole day of it!
