The large pavilion by the water represents summer; from here the visitor has a view of all parts of the garden, can look back on his path/life so far and look ahead to what is still to come.
It is a quiet get away at the water in the Westpark and a really nice place to relax in the summer heat and read a book.

The Thai Sala in Westpark with its magnificent lacquer paintings and glazed bricks is the first Buddhist shrine in Germany. Walk through the park to the small lake where the pavilion is located.

The Buddha sculpture in the center of the sala was even consecrated in 1994 by the abbot of a Buddhist monastery. Take advantage of the reflection of the pavilion in the lake and take a photo with the popular motif of the Sala and the Buddha figure.
